QA (ServiceNow)

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Analyst specializing in ServiceNow to ensure the quality and reliability of our software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance methodologies, testing processes, and a deep understanding of ServiceNow platform functionalities. You will be embedded within an agile team supporting a science-driven client implementing ServiceNow. The Quality Assurance Analyst will work closely with business analysts, system administrators, and business users to maximize efficiencies in executing tests, leveraging ServiceNow’s automated testing capability, when applicable, to construct effective functional, performance, and regression test suites. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the integrity and performance of ServiceNow applications through rigorous testing and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

 

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on testing ServiceNow applications.
- 1+ years of experience with ServiceNow platform functionalities, including incident management, change management, and service catalog.
- 1+ years of experience creating and executing test cases, test scripts, and test plans.
- 1+ years of experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Jenkins, or similar.
- Skilled at analyzing existing system documentation to summarize existing system functionality as it relates to the project at hand.
- Good understanding of basic system technologies as they relate to project deliverables.
- Ability to provide technical assistance and troubleshooting by effectively responding to inquiries.
- Working knowledge of JIRA.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Dev-Sec-Ops continuous deployment experience.

  Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop comprehensive test plans for ServiceNow implementations and enhancements.
- Design, develop, and execute test cases, scripts, and procedures to ensure the quality and integrity of ServiceNow applications.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to identify and address software defects and performance bottlenecks.
- Work closely with developers and product owners to troubleshoot issues, reproduce defects, and ensure timely resolution.
- Utilize industry-standard QA tools and methodologies to streamline testing processes and enhance overall product quality.
- Participate in agile development processes, sprint planning, and release management activities.
- Provide regular status updates, reports, and metrics on testing progress and product quality to stakeholders.

• The salary for this position is $70,000 - $108,000 annually
