Job Description:

Ensure the safety and security of our nation as a Cyber Technical Analyst Senior at GDIT. You’ll apply the latest technology and provide operational support to deliver actionable intelligence for the Intelligence Community. Our work depends on a Cyber Technical Analyst Senior joining our team who has at least 5+ years of cyber expertise in the area of operations, analysis and virtual operations to support customer requirements. TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.

HOW A CYBER TECHNICAL ANALYST SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

• Plans, prepares, and executes tests of systems to evaluate results against specifications and requirements as well as analyze/report test results

• Performs assessments of systems and networks within the network environment or enclave and identifies where those systems/networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy

• Performs analyses to validate established security requirements and to recommends additional security requirements and safeguards

• Performs forensic analysis of digital information and gathers and handles evidence. Identifies network computer intrusion evidence and perpetrators

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Required Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience supporting cyber activities

• Demonstrated experience in one of the following areas: computer network forensics, network administration, computer security, or large-scale data analysis

• Demonstrated experience using strong investigative skills to perform independent analysis on a variety of datasets to find elements of interest, whether it be computing and mobile devices, network activity, or individuals

• Demonstrated experience utilizing and manipulating data collections in support of operational requirements

• Demonstrated experience understanding internet applications and protocols

• Demonstrated experience and the ability to use the Internet in an operational environment

• Demonstrated experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems

Desired Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience with foreign language skills, spoken, written, or reading, specifically Chines, Russian, Farsi, or Arabic

• Demonstrated experience in penetration testing, defensive methodologies, or network intrusion response using applications such as MetaSploit, Kali/BackTrack, Nmap, Snort, Nessus, and NetWitness

• Demonstrated experience creating and automating technical solutions to manipulate large datasets

• Demonstrated experience with network analysis tools (Network Traffic Analysis, Encase, RedSeal, Protocol Analyzers, Hex Editors, Splunk), and operating system tools (Registry and Disk Editors)

• Demonstrated experience with computer networking, such as but not limited to, multiple routing protocols (BGP, OSP, EIGRP) and firewall engineering

• Demonstrated experience using scripting languages such as Python

• Demonstrated experience with certifications or degrees in the cybersecurity discipline (CISS), GIAC, GPEN, CEH, OSCP)

• Demonstrated experience with a Master’s degree in a relevant technical field (engineering, computer sciences, or computer forensics)

• Demon experience with mobile technologies to include cellular networks (cellular, wi-fi, Bluetooth, etc.)

• Demonstrated experience creating automated visualizations with open source solutions (Gephi, GraphViz, NodeXL, Cytoscape)

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Bachelor of Science or better in Computer Science with a minimum of 5+ years as a Technical Targeter

• Hard Target Language
