We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon. As a DISTRIBUTION CLERK I, you will be trusted with the warehouse shipping and receiving responsibilities within the OAKGROVE WAREHOUSE at FORT WORTH, TEXAS, (US).

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and/or receiving duties which may require the use of hand trucks, forklifts, and other devices, as well as computers to maintain data.

• Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment.

• Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials; prepares records of materials shipped and bills of lading; routes materials to destinations.

• May lay out, fabricate, and assemble nonstandard shipping crates and boxes, and prepare parts and tooling for special shipment.

• Brings up technical issues and systemic needs/challenges in a timely manner.

• Requires an attention to detail and heightened focus on quality and compliance along with strict adherence to Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Current Good Documentation Practices (cGDP), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and report all discrepancies immediately.

• Responsible for adhering to safety policies/procedures and ensuring work areas are clean and free of hazards or dangerous conditions and in accordance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English

• Work hours: 2nd Shift -  Monday through Friday from 11:00am – 8:00pm

• Travel Requirements: 0 to 10%
