In this position…

Electrified Performance, Development and Verification (EPD&V) is responsible for verifying the power unit attributes related to thermal, efficiency, mechanical function, and durability. 

  • Design and execute testing to validate electrified vehicle power units.
  • Work with technical specialists and cross functional groups to develop and execute test plans.
  • Prepare test data for presentations to various cross functional team members.
  • Engage and encourage open collaboration, communication with teammates.
  • Practice continual process improvement through our test methods, requirements and FMA workstreams.

What you'll do… 

  • Lead power unit design verification workstream for power unit application.
  • Complete power unit systems level test methods in support of DV and PV requirements.
  • Analyze, document and present test results to drive sign-off or change with systems and component engineering teammates.
  • Lead durability teardown sign-off process for testing completed.
  • Align with program control and vehicle program on prototype counts, dyno kit and vehicle needs to enable test development.
  • Interface as Single Point of Contact with VEV (Vehicle Evaluation & Verification) to secure appropriate resources from the dyno lab.

You'll have... 

Minimum 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (ME or EE) preferred.
  • 5 years of experience, some of which includes testing and development work
  • Experience with vehicle or dyno development work preferred.
  • Sense of independence and ownership in your work
  • Ability to work on-site 3 to 5 days a week is expected
  • Confidence in ability to summarize test plan and results appropriately for the audience.
  • Self-starter, quick learner and team oriented
