Position Overview
Are you passionate about hospitality, the outdoors, and creating unforgettable guest experiences? Cooper Spur Mountain Resort, nestled on the scenic north side of Mt. Hood, is looking for a dynamic, hands-on Assistant Manager to lead daily operations and inspire excellence across our resort teams.
In this pivotal leadership role, you’ll oversee front-of-house operations in both our restaurant and front desk, mentor a dedicated team of supervisors and leads, and play an active part in enhancing guest service, staff training, and operational efficiency. Whether you're troubleshooting challenges, elevating guest experiences, or stepping into frontline roles when needed, your impact will be seen and felt every day.

This is a full-time, year-round, benefited position
Qualifications & Experience:
• 21 years of age or older
• Minimum 2 years hospitality experience in a restaurant or hotel setting
• Minimum 2 years leadership experience
• Experience successfully supervising several departments with a focus on guest service & hospitality
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Must commit to working evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must have reliable transportation for winter road conditions
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Outlook, Excel)
• OLCC Service Permit & ServSafe Certification
• Must successfully pass a background check
• Must be comfortable with the changing dynamics of a seasonal business
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
• Banquet or event coordination experience
Compensation:
• Wage: $26.47 - $27.27 Hourly + Tips
