Manager, Executive Operations - Vaccines
PfizerAbout the role
ROLE SUMMARY
The Opportunity
Every high-performing leadership team depends on a strong operator behind the scenes — someone who keeps things organized, moves work forward, and helps the team execute well. In Pfizer's global Vaccines organization, this is that role.
As Manager, Executive Operations, you will run the day-to-day operations of the Office of the Chief Vaccines Officer (CVO). We are looking for an ambitious, intellectually curious, and highly organized professional who thrives in ambiguity, sees the strategic picture across a complex global matrix, and operates seamlessly at the intersection of strategy and execution. You won't just keep things running; you will look for ways to make them run better.
This is a high-visibility, high-leverage position. You will act as a trusted operational partner for the CVO and the Vaccines Chief of Staff (CoS). You will frequently prepare the groundwork for critical executive engagements, supporting complex cross-functional workstreams with guidance from the Chief of Staff, exercising sound judgment on day-to-day sequencing, and flagging trade-offs as they arise. You take initiative, ask good questions, and constructively challenge assumptions with diplomacy, establishing the operational systems that enable a complex global Vaccines organization to deliver on a life-saving health mission.
The Working Model
The CVO Office operates as a small, high-trust, collaborative team. Reporting directly to the Chief of Staff, you will work closely together on the daily operations of the office.
The Chief of Staff helps translate the CVO's strategic priorities into execution, advises the CVO and the Vaccines Leadership Team, and drives alignment across Vaccines R&D and its key partners. You will take direction from the Chief of Staff on scope and sequencing while owning the execution end-to-end.
As you build a track record of high-quality delivery, your scope and responsibility will grow. Over time, you will be expected to anticipate needs, take initiative within your remit, and drive outcomes — always keeping the Chief of Staff informed and aligned.
