Role: Manufacturing Industry Leader, United States and Canada (USC)

As the Manufacturing Industry Leader at dss+, you will develop and lead regional sales, revenue, and EBITDA growth. You will understand business challenges faced by client executives in leading organizations in order to design solutions that effectively support client’s transformation journey.

You will have a strategic and client facing role across the consulting value chain, from leading and or supporting business development efforts, some project delivery) and key account development. You will also be the regional thought leader responsible to help shape and drive our Manufacturing Industry strategy in collaboration with our Practice Delivery Teams.

As the leader of the Manufacturing industry team in the USC market, you are expected to grow revenue and EBITDA in the Manufacturing industry and collaborate with thought leaders to innovate our approach to deliver value for our clients. You will develop and engage a team of dss+ Managers and Consultants with a strong focus on client deliver within a high-performance work culture. You will also participate in the dss+ Global Manufacturing Industry Team which drives collaboration across the regions.

• In addition to being the USC Manufacturing Industry Team leader, support other industry teams with business development efforts based on your background and experience: Mining & Metals, Private Equity, Oil & Gas being the top priorities
• Support the USC Sales, Operations and Growth Leader to drive Account Development
• Participate in acquisition targeting and integration of new businesses in the region

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate experience and capabilities aligned to the following:

• Current knowledge of select sub sectors in the Manufacturing industry: key trends, major players in the market, key risks, challenges, and value drivers.
• Experience working in a management consulting firm, ideally combined with hands-on experience in the Manufacturing industry.
• Demonstrated knowledge of relevant industry solutions/best practices in operational risk, operational excellence, or sustainability practice lines.
• Bring existing relationships with relevant senior leaders in USC targeted industries.
• Direct experience (>15 years) in delivering growth and key services in transforming companies.
• Communicate effectively at C-suite level and ability to effectively drive business development/solution development and/or high-quality delivery of key services.
• Demonstrated experience coaching, leading, and developing sales talent.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, outcomes focused, thriving in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to USC regional Managing Director accountable to develop and lead the USC Manufacturing Industry team focused on business development, go to market strategy in support of regional business growth.
