Coinbase Developer Platform (CDP) is building the developer tools to bring the world onchain.

Today, onchain development is slow, risky, and painful, even for the most experienced onchain developers. Our goal is to bring a million developers onchain by creating an easy to use and trusted developer experience. We build API and SDK products for developers like wallets, paymaster, staking, stablecoins, onchain data, and more.

We are looking for a strong PMM to lead the growth of our developer business. You will be responsible for building and driving the GTM strategy for Coinbase Developer Platform and related developer products. With a deep knowledge of the crypto developer audience and developer marketing tactics, you will have the opportunity to lead marketing pushes in our efforts to expand Coinbase’s brand in the developer ecosystem. This role is critical to the success of our growth ambitions. 

 

What you’ll be doing:

• Responsible for the development and execution of a large segment of Coinbase’s marketing strategy for Coinbase Developer Platform and other related Coinbase developer products
• Be the voice of the customer and trusted advisor as to how current and future clients’ needs inform product messaging, brand differentiation, marketing content, and tactics
• Develop and lead successful product launches and ongoing marketing campaigns
• Partner closely with the business development to develop compelling marketing collateral including event presentations, one-pagers, case studies, webinars, and websites
• Work cross-functionally with product, business development, design, communications, customer support, etc. to build our pipeline and improve conversion rates
• Measure and report against the performance of product marketing initiatives
• Think big about the future of crypto and how we can bring developers onchain more quickly

What we look for in you: 

• Minimum of 5-12 years of crypto developer product marketing experience
• Strong foundation in software development and a thorough understanding of blockchain technology.
• Powerful storyteller: written, verbal, and visual
• Demonstrated track record of creating campaigns to drive new customer acquisition, build community, deepen engagement & retention
• Advanced quantitative and deductive skills. Ability to distinguish between the signal and the noise and make data-guided actions
• Outstanding project management skills
• Ability to come up to speed on technical topics quickly
• Ability to form strong relationships with a product team and cross-functional partners
• Self-starter and ability to be ready to roll-up your sleeves and get things done

Nice to haves:

• Experience working on API products and developer platforms

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full time offers from Coinbase also include target bonus + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).Pay Range: $195,500—$230,000 USD
