Responsibilities

Responsible for operating dish machine to ensure dishes and silverware are cleaned and sanitized, dried and put away in a timely manner.

Handle trash and sweep and mop kitchen floor.

Assists with maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen, storeroom, cold storage areas, hallways, and dock areas, completing cleaning checklists, as directed.

Assists with unloading, receiving, and stocking food/supply delivers from the food delivery trucks when needed.

May assist with serving meals to residents if needed.

Qualifications

COMMUNICATION: Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the English language including medical terminology related to the job.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to gain access to the work area and then safely perform the duties of the job. Vision and hearing within normal limits (with or without correction). Must have unrestricted lift/push/pull ability of 32 - pounds, demonstrating strength and agility at Tabitha’s discretion.

AGE REQUIREMENT: At least age 16.

EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

EXPERIENCE: Six months of experience in sanitation work in health care or food preparation facility preferred.
