SUMMARY

As a member of the Firefly Aerospace Skillbridge Program, you'll have the unique opportunity to work as an Launch/Test Support Systems Technician. In this role, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in the aerospace industry, encompassing ground support equipment, auxiliary equipment, and test stand operations. This program is tailored for active-duty service members within six months of transitioning out of the military, and it offers a pathway into a rewarding career with an end-to-end space transportation company. These positions are located north of Cedar Park, in Briggs, TX & Vandenburg, CA. Training is provided. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform all the steps in making aerospace support systems efficient and effective, encompassing ground support equipment, auxiliary equipment, and test stand operations.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment and systems associated with ground support equipment, auxiliary equipment, and test stands.
• Understand and follow all safety protocols and regulations related to the operation and maintenance of aerospace support systems.
• Create accurate and comprehensive documentation for all maintenance and repair activities, adhering to industry standards.
• Collaborate with experienced aerospace professionals to understand the intricacies of ground support equipment, auxiliary equipment, and test stand operations.
• Participate in practical, on-the-job training to build your skills and knowledge in the maintenance and operation of ground support equipment, auxiliary equipment, and test stands.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have a high school diploma and a minimum of 2 or more years of direct experience demonstrating mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Shop organization and cleanliness.
• Use of personal protective equipment.
• Skilled in maintenance with a focus on safety and compliance.
