The Sanofi Swiftwater site is a designated poliovirus-essential facility (PEF) and as such will maintain compliance with the World Health Organization (WHO) Global Action Plan (GAP III) to minimize poliovirus facility-associated risks requirements.  The Sr Lab Analyst will be primarily responsible for all Polio clinical testing as dictated by the master testing schedule and will be required to work in a Biosafety Level 3 (BSL-3) facility in accordance with GAPIII requirements and guidelines.

Main Responsibilities:

• Accurate and timely recording of all data using specified formats and assist with the generation or revision of documentation associated with laboratory activities/processes or for monitoring, ordering, and/or receiving of laboratory supplies and reagents.

• Perform general laboratory housekeeping, maintenance and care of instruments and equipment, and ensure that corporate, quality, regulatory, and safety procedures are being observed and followed at all times

• May perform laboratory testing/support activities associated with other projects or tasks, as needed.

About You

• Earned Bachelor's degree in relevant field + 1 year of relevant experience OR Earned Master's degree in relevant field

• Experience with BSL2 is required, BSL3 experience preferred

• Experience following cGLP guidelines is key

• Strong HSE understanding, including emergency spill response, is necessary

• Understanding of gap requirements is helpful

• Assay qualification and validation is preferred, as well as assay failure troubleshooting experience is preferred

• Good documentation practice is essential

• Ability to work cross-functionally within and across collaborative teams
