Job Description:

The Senior Quality Analyst role works within our agile/scrum Product Engineering team to implement inspection activities to detect problems and ensure the product meets the established quality standards.  This role leads initiatives with little guidance to the definition of done, works with and guides immediate peers, and communicates across the immediate team. 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Reviews User Stories and Acceptance Criteria to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.
  • Designs, develops, maintains functional test cases and ensures all tests are traceable.  
  • Develops and maintains quality strategy for product team. 
  • Ensures that user expectations are met during the testing process.
  • Implements and monitors test cases to assess functionality, reliability, performance, and quality of the service or product. 
  • Fosters a collaborative relationship with developers to maximize value of testing. 
  • Identifies potential quality issues per defined process and escalates reported potential quality issues to the scrum team. 
  • Graduation or Post Graduation degree in Computer Science or engineering fields, or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of relevant QA experience.   
  • Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology including all Agile ceremonies.  
  • Understanding of the various QA terminologies, SDLC and STLC.
  • Knowledge of QA Best Practices and supporting processes. 
  • Experience writing SQL queries and querying relational databases.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $76,500.00 - $171,500.00 per year.
