REQUIREDBLS (CPR) | American Heart Association or American Red CrossCurrent PA or NP licensure in the State of NCDEA License

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Communicates professionally, compassionately and effectively with patients, co-workers and referring physicians. --------------------------------------------------Provides appropriate patient assessment and establishes evidence-based plan of care with physician input when deemed to be appropriate.--------------------------------------------------Provides patient education, discusses ongoing care, medications, resources for self-education, and when and how to contact the practice for emergent care.--------------------------------------------------Responds quickly and professionally to emergent care demands, family concerns and nursing questions. --------------------------------------------------Reviews, interprets and integrates patient data. --------------------------------------------------Uses all electronic and computerized resources to provide timely and accurate patient care. --------------------------------------------------

Qualifications

 

EDUCATION:Bachelors, RequiredMasters, PreferredBachelors Degree in Nursing or Physician Assisting required.

 

EXPERIENCE:1 year, Preferred1 year of practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant preferred.

 

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:REQUIREDBLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare ProviderCurrent PA or NP licensure in the State of NC required.DEA License required within 60 days of hire date (due to APPs at this location not prescribing narcotics).PREFERRED
