General pay range for Clerical Support at MVHS Medical Group range between $16.25 and $22.10 (based on specific position and experience).
Job Summary
Clerical support staff include Administrative Assistants and Data Entry Specialists. These positions provide indirect patient care in the office or clinic setting and act as a liaison between the patient, clinical staff and/or providers, and assist with correspondence with insurance companies. Various clerical duties may include but is not limited to answering telephones, scheduling of appointments, assisting with prescription authorizations and obtaining medical records.
Opportunities include full-time, part-time and per-diem positions.
Specialty Care Services include: Advanced Endo, Wound Care, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Hematology/Oncology, Infectious Disease, Pulmonary, Sleep Lap, Urology, Vascular Surgery, and Neuro Endovascular Surgery.

Education/Experience Requirements
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Clerical experience.
Preferred:
- Experience with insurance company rules/regulations
- Medical terminology knowledge
Licensure/Certification Requirements
Preferred:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - must receive BLS certification within six (6) weeks of hire date
