Quality Engineering team seeking for a strong and dynamic QMS leader who will be directly reporting to Director of Quality. This role is highly visible and has the power to influence entire organization by promoting quality culture. In this position, you'll be at the forefront of developing and integrating quality systems, policies, and procedures. This role will have a direct leadership responsibility to bring in QMS culture to Product Quality, Supplier Quality, Field Quality, Quality Assurance and other cross- functional teams within the organization.

 

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON:

  • QMS Establishment
    • Establish QMS from the scratch with clear Vision and Mission to foster quality
    • Establish Quality Policy, Quality Objectives, and Quality Systems
    • Develop Quality Educate, train, communicate, and ensure compliance to established Quality Manual requirements.
    • Develop strong cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Safety, Field Services, etc. functions to establish successful QMS.
    • Periodically report overall status of QMS to business cross-functional Escalate and address if there are any critical QMS gaps with sense of urgency.
  • QMS Training
    • Design, develop and implement QMS training programs to ensure everyone in the organization has same level of QMS understanding and awareness to ensure compliance to QMS requirements.
    • Provide training guidance, tools, methodologies by developing training schedules to train all employees. Maintain QMS training and training evaluation records.
  • QMS Audits
    • Coordinate and develop internal audit schedules and audit
    • Conduct internal systems audits and process audits. Implement corrective actions for audit non-conformance findings.
    • Hold periodical audit performance meetings with all cross-functional
    • Prepare Audit reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing audit findings
    • Conduct external supplier audits, monitor, and measure results. Maintain supplier database, report on supplier audit performance, issue corrective action requests and follow-up on audit gap closures until completion.
    • Establish internal audit committee team by training new internal
  • QMS KPI
    • Support in defining Quality team KPIs in accordance with QMS
    • Maintain and develop digital solutions to simplify and make QMS KPIs monitoring more efficient.

 

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or an equivalent technical discipline is
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management, employees, suppliers and
  • Proven ability to work hands-on with the team to achieve QMS
  • Minimum 10+ years of QMS leadership
  • Supplier Quality, Product Quality, Customer Quality, Field Quality, and Quality Assurance experience is highly desired.
  • In-depth QMS knowledge like ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, or
  • Lead Auditor Certification
  • Excellent technical writing skills to develop QMS policies, procedures, and
  • Strong background in documentation and records
  • Familiarity with industry regulatory, statutory, and compliance rules and
  • Knowledge with automotive PPAP, APQP, SPC, PFMEA
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal relationship
  • Demonstrated project management, multi-tasking, co-ordination & organization
  • Experience in directly interfacing with customers and
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and Adaptability to changing situations and priorities.
  • Pragmatic and results oriented with a continuous improvement
  • Highly organized, self-motivated individual who can work effectively in a collaborative team
