As a Meals Driver you will be a vital link between nutritious meals and the seniors within your community who depend on them.

Schedule: 

• Standard operating business hours are from 8am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday
• Ability to work on a rotating weekend schedule at least two weekends per month as needed
• Guaranteed to be scheduled a minimum of 30 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Pick-up, transfer, and deliver frozen meals from designated pick-up sites
• Follow routing instructions to ensure timely deliveries
• Assist clients by carrying and/or putting away meals inside their homes as needed
• Look out for changes in client or home conditions; reporting to supervisor
• Maintain a clean and well-organized delivery vehicles
• Pick up, deliver, and/or install PERS (Personal Emergency Response Systems) as needed

Work Environment: 

• Pick up of meals will be conducted at a designated drop-off point
• Meals will be delivered to the homes of clients and/or a Senior Solutions regional office
• Pick up and delivery of meals will be conducted in an assigned company car

Requirements

• Valid F endorsement driver's license from the state of TN and clean driving record
• Ability to walk, drive, lift, and carry heavy items for extended period
• Ability to bend, climb, stoop, and stand an average of 5 hours per day
• Heavy Work category requires exertion of 50 to 100 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 20 to 50 lbs. of force frequently and/or up to 10 to 20 lbs. of force continually to move objects.
• Willing and able to complete a robust video training program provided by Senior Solutions
• Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms
• Possesses a valid driver’s license (required)
• Possesses a valid second form of ID, such as a social security card
• Must have reliable transportation with the ability to cover your branch office county.
• Car insurance (required)
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug testing per company standards
• Posses a smartphone
