As a Software Engineer on our Backend team, you will:
- Develop large-scale software systems that power the Lemon8 app.
- Improve system design and architecture to ensure high stability and performance of the services.
- Collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality work in rapid product development.

Responsibilities:
- Design system model and business architecture that meets international business needs and has scalability based on business functionalities and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and work with multiple business partners to initiate and develop software solutions.
- Ensure the quality and stability of the system, and provide guidance to engineers at all levels to continuously optimize the system.
- Cooperate with global XFN teams to support new product innovations and business proposals, and continuously explore new initiatives from the engineering perspective.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related areas
- 3+ years of experience in one or more programming languages such as Go, Java, C++, Python etc.
- Strong programming fundamentals with excellent design and coding style.
- Proficient experience in designing, evaluating, and optimizing the efficiency, scalability, and stability of complex distributed systems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in one or more programming languages such as Go, Java, C++, Python etc.
- Experience in building backend services for large-scale consumer-facing applications.
- Experience in building social/community products.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $194000 - $355000 annually.​

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.​

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others.
