Liquid, by TripActions, is growing our team! We’re growing quickly and are looking for an Expense Operations Specialist to join the Liquid team. This is a wonderful opportunity for a customer-obsessed, operations minded, individual who likes to build and scale.
What You’ll Do:
- Master payments technologies, services, and day-to-day workflows to ensure efficiency, timely processing, quality, and mitigating risk through working cases including payment issues, disputes, account management, onboarding, and investigation
- Develop expertise in product functionality and unique customer use cases
- Triage and investigate escalations with cross functional teams including Finance, Engineering, Product, Success, and Support
- Escalate operational risks to leadership and be the subject matter expert to help drive solutions
- Achieve productivity and quality KPIs, and contribute to metrics related to workflows that you own
- Execute current processes while critically evaluating the current state to identify areas of operational improvement
- Contribute to policies, procedures, and processes; re-engineer (as needed) to maximize effectiveness and efficiency
What We’re Looking For:
- 3 years of operational experience in fintech, card payments, eCommerce, or other high growth financial services
- Strong customer focus - ability to effectively and quickly build relationships while establishing trust and respect
- Proven track record of achieving targets & KPIs in a high-growth environment
- Able to prioritize work, meet critical deadlines, and work effectively under pressure
- Excellent organizational, conceptual, listening and verbal/written communication skills
- A systems thinker who is obsessed with automating processes and reducing human involvement (including your own)
- Strong with Excel and Google sheets
- Past experience launching new processes and driving improved process maturity
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for what you're building. A desire to seek out what’s broken and fix it
- Curious and works well under ambiguity
- Ability to establish cross functional understanding with colleagues who may not have your financial services experience
- Salesforce case management experience a plus
