KBR is seeking a part-time senior logistics professional familiar with all aspects of Army logistics including Logistic Product development, Fielding & New Equipment Training, and Readiness & Sustainment. This candidate will assist in all aspects of KBR’s current and future logistical efforts in support of the KBR Sterling Heights office.
This position is temporary, however there is potential opportunity for future full-time employment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting all aspects of KBR’s current and future logistical efforts
- Coordinating with senior Army program leadership in support of current and future efforts
- Write, review, and/or provide logistical input to all documents prior to delivery to customers
- Teach/coach/mentor fellow KBR employees; specifically highlighting logistic acumen
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education Required: A master’s degree or higher in logistics or related field or Equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 20 years related experience in the logistics field working with Army ground vehicles
- DIWIA Level III Certification in Life Cycle Logistics
- Possess a working knowledge and recent experience in all aspects of Army logistics including Logistic Product development, Fielding & New Equipment Training and Readiness & Sustainment
- Must be a US citizen, applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- A solid understanding and recent experience with Army Acquisition process and execution
- A working knowledge of Army technical manual development and authentication
- Familiarity with Army organizations on the Detroit Arsenal (DTA) is preferred
Work location: Sterling Heights Office – combination of onsite and telework
Travel: Travel is not expected but could be up to 10% to attend site visits or conferences
