About the role

ABOUT RETOOL

Nearly every company in the world runs on custom software: Gartner estimates that up to 50% of all code is written for internal use. This is the operational software for refunding orders, underwriting loans, onboarding employees, analyzing transactions, and providing customer support. But most companies don’t have adequate resources to properly invest in these tools, leading to a lot of old and clunky internal software or, even worse, users still stuck in manual and spreadsheet flows.

At Retool, we’re on a mission to bring good software to everyone. We’re building a new type of development platform that combines the benefits of traditional software development with a drag-and-drop UI editor and AI, making it dramatically faster to build internal tools. We believe that the future of software development lies in abstracting away the tedious and repetitive tasks developers waste time on, while creating reusable components that act as a force multiplier for future developers and projects. The result is not just productivity, but good software by default. And that’s a mission worth striving for.

Today, our customers span from small startups building their first operational tools to Fortune 500 companies building mission-critical apps for thousands of users across their business. Interested in joining us? Let us know!

WHY WE’RE LOOKING FOR YOU

Retool is the fast way to build internal tools. Thousands of companies—like Brex, DoorDash, and Pinterest—use Retool to build custom apps that help them manage drivers, approve loans, and run any process that gets business done. We’ve grown exponentially each year since being founded, but need help reaching millions more developers. That’s where you come in.

Are you looking for a company where you can work with an amazing team to create really cool and engaging event activations at tradeshows like hosting your customers at a Supercar Driving Experience? We’re looking for someone that does more than just checks a box and executes against a task list. You’ll have extensive experience not only managing and executing tradeshows but you’ll also know all the different dependencies, impacts, deadlines, event email campaigns, enabling the audience acquisition teams, creating memorable experiences, and knowing if and when to pivot when things aren’t heading in the right direction. You are able to handle pressure and the demands that may come in when you are managing multiple tradeshows. You have seen it all and can adapt to changes when needed while rallying the team. We’re a fast-paced startup with plenty of room to experiment and create immediate impact from your work. You’ll get to wear different hats and work across many teams at Retool.
