Security Guard, Industrial Setting

We are looking for Temporary  Part-Time Security guards to work in the Industrial sector near Brandon and Community of Glenboro for 6 months .As a member of the GardaWorld team, your primary role is to ensure the safety and security of client assets, tenants and visitors to the assignment area in a professional and courteous manner.

• $3.5 per hr. shelter pay (12 hr shift)

What does a Security Guard in Brandon and Glenboro do ?

• Maintain a safe and Secure environment
• Patrol the site,  deter crime and trespassers.
• Report all events at the site and email end of the shift report with the pictures from the site.
• RCMP will be your emergency contact.
• Enforce Property regulations and city Bi- Laws on the client's site.
• Protect the client's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues.
• Complete Daily reports and Incident Reports.
• Provide Excellent customer service.

Qualifications to become a Security Guard in Brandon and Gleboro

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Must have valid Class 5 Full Driving license
• Previous experience in the security industry (asset)
• Valid Manitoba Security Guard license
• Must be a team player
• Must be able to prolonged patrols 
• First aid will be beneficial
• Must have a  reliable vehicle to get to and from work and be able to drive in inclement weather.
• Must be consistent for same shifts for 6 months.
• Customer service oriented
• Leadership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a stressful environment
