Lead Maintenance

The Lead Maintenance Technician is responsible for overseeing daily maintenance operations, leading maintenance staff, and ensuring equipment, facilities, and systems operate safely and efficiently. This role combines hands-on technical work with leadership, planning, and coordination responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, train, and supervise maintenance technicians and contractors

• Assign, prioritize, and monitor daily work orders and preventive maintenance tasks

• Perform advanced maintenance and repair on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems

• Troubleshoot complex equipment and system issues and implement long-term solutions

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies

• Maintain maintenance records, logs, and reports (CMMS or manual systems)

• Coordinate with operations, management, and vendors to minimize downtime

• Inspect completed work for quality, safety, and efficiency

• Assist with inventory control, ordering parts, and managing maintenance budgets

• Support facility improvements, equipment installations, and capital projects
