MEP Designer (Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing) (HVAC)

We are looking an experienced HVAC MEP Designer to join our team.

Duties

• Develop detailed HVAC system designs, including load calculations, equipment selection, and ductwork layout.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to integrate HVAC systems into building designs.
• Conduct energy modeling and performance analysis to ensure system efficiency and sustainability.
• Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, reports, and design drawings.
• Review and approve project submittals, shop drawings, and equipment data.
• Conduct field surveys and assessments to evaluate existing HVAC systems and recommend upgrades or modifications.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and building codes.
• Provide technical support during project execution and address any design-related issues that arise.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in HVAC design.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in related field is required.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in designing is required.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and Revit is required.
• Understanding of applicable design codes and specification requirements.
• Strong understanding of HVAC principles, energy efficiency standards, and sustainability practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
