Join us! We’re hiring a Warehouse Operations Manager for our world-class R&D and pilot-production facility at QuantumScape. You will lead a dedicated team charged with ensuring the company's warehousing, shipping, and receiving operations can rapidly scale to support the company’s growth as we seek to commercialize our groundbreaking energy storage technology.
 The company’s next-generation batteries are designed to enable longer range, faster charging, and enhanced safety in electric vehicles to support the transition away from legacy energy sources toward a lower carbon future. In this role, you will: • Lead a team of material handlers and shipping specialists to establish a world-class logistics operation spanning multiple locations. • Setup our brand-new warehouse to support our long-term growth. • Develop and implement new systems, from simple, low-tech solutions like Kanban cards to a full-blown warehouse management system (WMS). • Coordinate shipments of materials to and from QuantumScape, including shepherding shipments through customs. • Manage material transfers between buildings. • Build a culture of pride and accountability among our Logistics team. • Collaborate with our Production, Supply Chain, Procurement and Facilities teams to build a logistics operating system that delivers for the entire company.
Minimum Requirements: Education & Experience: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. • 5+ years’ experience in warehouse management, logistics or operations. • Demonstrated success in delivering outstanding logistics support in a manufacturing environment.
