Position Overview:
As an IT Architecture/System Engineer Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting the operational excellence of the organization's IT infrastructure. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you will assist in various tasks that ensure the efficiency and stability of our systems. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in system monitoring, troubleshooting, and documentation.

On-site in Melbourne, FL with the potential for a hybrid work schedule
Your Day to Day as a IT Architecture/System Engineer Intern:
- Assists in the monitoring of system performance and resource utilization.
- Helps in identifying and troubleshooting system issues and anomalies.
- Maintains documentation of system configurations, procedures, and network diagrams.
- Compiles and reports on system performance metrics and incidents.
- Supports the deployment and configuration of new servers and software applications.
- Assists in the setup of development, testing, and production environments.
- Works collaboratively with other IT teams, including network, database, and application teams.
- Participates in team meetings and contributes to project discussions.
- Assists in monitoring and maintaining security protocols and policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be currently enrolled in a degree program for Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with team members and support users.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux).
- Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Basic understanding of programing concepts such as Powershell, Javascript, C#.
