•Work as a member of the infrastructure team on projects involving the installation of servers, storage, and network hardware including network cabling.
•Maintain critical facilities for our data center, campus networks, and remote sites.
•Maintain deployment standards involving power, cabling, inventory, labeling, and logistics.
•Continually analyze and work to improve the quality of services offered by IT.
•Partner with Facilities to ensure power and cooling requirements are properly implemented and maintained.
•Collaborate with technical teams to find solutions for hardware and software problems.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical,  reliability engineering or related scientific discipline.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in data center design engineering, operations, and maintenance. 
  • 3+ years of experience supporting IT network devices, servers, and storage.
  • 5+ years of experience installing cabinet and structured cabling solutions including but not limited to patch panels, fiber cable trays, cable management, and ladder racks.
  • Requires frequent standing, walking, working at heights, and lifting items up to 50 pounds.
  • Experience using cable analyzers and smart network testers.
  • Ability to travel to different Lucid facilities.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in creating and updating documentation.
  • Excellent knowledge of EIA and TIA wiring standards.
  • Excellent cable connectivity troubleshooting skills. 
  • Experience using Windows, MacOS, and Linux.
  • Expertise in preparing reports for presentations and project management.
  • Experience using network and data center planning tools.
  • Collaborate with internal customers as well as vendors.
  • Customer service-oriented with good interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management and prioritizing skills.
  • Self-motivator able to take on tasks or projects and run with them.
  • Great oral and written communication skills
