This role will support acceptance testing functions on production AND development/prototype products within the Advanced Product Center (APC) at the McKinney, TX site.
The effective candidate will perform a wide variety of tasks and testing functions in support of a manufacturing/production environment on 2nd shift. The candidate will work directly with engineering on production and troubleshooting tasks.
Experience working in a classified or proprietary program environment is preferred
What You Will Do
Problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively identify alternate solutions to overcome technical challenges.
Fault-isolate problems and assisting in the resolution of issues between the test environment (test station, interface adapter, test cables, etc.) and the devices under test.
Experience in observing, analyzing, and reporting test data.
Select and set up appropriate test equipment based on test specifications.
Interpretation of test data (plots, graphs, tabulated parameters, etc.) to choose pass/fail condition and resolve when further analysis is needed.
Basic use of hand tools, torque tools and analyzers, and power tools
*This will be an onsite role working the 2nd shift.*
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
Experience with VM, CMES, SAP, or other manufacturing automation databases and tools.
Experience with Microsoft excel, MATLAB, programming, drive share mapping, and basic computer programs.
Experience in performing product tests by utilizing procedures, manuals, schematics, engineering drawings, verbal instructions, and other related documentation under limited supervision.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
Minimum 2 years of testing experience. Education in a STEM background may be substituted for work experience.
Experience with Oscilloscopes, Pulse Generators, Programmable Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, Multimeters, and other test assets
Related experience working in a Manufacturing, Assembly, Aviation or Naval Environment with hands on technical experience in repair, installation, and inspection.
Experience in performing product tests by utilizing procedures, manuals, schematics, engineering drawings, verbal instructions, and other related documentation under limited supervision.
