Oracle EBS Technical Architect

Job Description

At CSCI, we specialize in delivering innovative, high-performance solutions that support complex government systems. We are currently seeking a highly experienced Oracle EBS Technical Architect to lead infrastructure planning and technical oversight for our Department of Defense (DoD) and federal clients. This role is ideal for a seasoned IT leader with expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), performance engineering, and enterprise system resilience.

Responsibilities

 

• Leading technical planning and infrastructure management for hardware, software, and network components
• Conducting platform performance reviews, sizing, scalability assessments, and benchmarking activities
• Delivering architectural guidance for Oracle EBS R12.2+ environments, including production, COOP, and test/dev ecosystems
• Managing disaster recovery planning, performance testing, and capacity planning with agility to support emerging technology integration
• Writing high-quality technical documentation and deliverables for government stakeholders
• Maintaining rigorous standards for system security, readiness, and compliance

Minimum Requirements

• 10 years of experience supporting DoD or Federal Oracle shared service environments using Oracle EBS R12.2 or higher
• Active DoD TS/SCI Clearance
• IA Technical (IAT) Level II certification as per DoD 8570.01-M
• Applicable CE/OS certification for Oracle-based DAI environments
• Proven expertise in infrastructure planning, performance engineering, and enterprise platform management
• Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CGFM) from a nationally recognized authority
• Exceptional technical writing and communication skills with strong command of the English language
• Creativity and adaptability in problem-solving
• Ability to work with clients to understand their needs
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Professional presence

Preferred Skills

• Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently
• Strong customer and vendor relationship skills
• Demonstrated ability to comply with data standards and policies
• Motivation to learn new technologies and methodologies that demonstrate value
• Past experience working with a federal agency 
• Department of Defense experience is a plus!
