The opportunity

Southern New Hampshire facilities Department is currently seeking student employee to fill the role of Office Assistant.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor work orders, place work orders based on phone calls or in person requests with accuracy
• Answer, direct and manage phone calls, take messages and relay information
• Greet and direct visitors/vendors accordingly
• Issue campus keys to vendors/contractors and maintain detailed key log
• Will interact with all trades based within the department

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current enrollment in classes as part of a SNHU degree program
• Customer service experience & basic office etiquette

Preferred qualifications:

• Work study as part of financial package
• Computer experience with Microsoft Word and Outlook
• Availability to work through the calendar year which includes summer hours

Work Schedule

• Up to 20 hours a week, Facilities hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm, can be flexible with students hours

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $12.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
