Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Cybersecurity Compliance Manager. The preferred location for this role is in Midland, MI or Houston, TX, but candidates across the U.S. will also be considered. The role will align to Dow's Design Your Day approach and allows employees flexibility by choosing when to work remotely and when to attend on-site activities based on project work and role needs.
About you and this role
As a Senior Cybersecurity Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for leading SAP cybersecurity and compliance challenges to protect Dow’s enterprise IT environment. You will lead SAP compliance architecture, including patch and vulnerability management. You will also be the cyber security leader for all merger and acquisitions coordinating all aspects of information security for the M&A. Additionally, you will lead global external cyber compliance certification accreditations requests for ISO, TISAX, NIS2, customer assurance audit requests, etc.
Responsibilities
- Owns and administers the SAP cybersecurity and compliance tools, and oversees the health of SAP applications and infrastructure
- Works with Dow's Enterprise Architects to ensure SAP security controls are designed and implemented
- Performs POC of new SAP Cybersecurity protection solutions as needed
- Improves overall SAP cybersecurity protection capabilities by continuously promoting new ideas and techniques to drive improvements
- Ensures that projects stay on track to upgrade SAP
- Responsible for SAP vulnerability management program
- Acts as the Security leader for export control cybersecurity regulatory compliance
- Leads external cyber security certification requests for regulatory and customer requirements
- Leads cyber security track of merger and acquisition projects
Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, 8 years relevant experience, or relevant military experience at a U.S. E6 rank or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or higher
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant SAP experience
- A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process
Preferred Skills
- 10 years of relevant industry experience
- 8 years of SAP security experience
- Strong Interest in SAP cybersecurity and compliance processes
- Excellent oral and written skills
- Familiarity with security frameworks e.g., NIST CSF, ISO, SOX, etc
- IT audit background or experience with security controls
- Prior SAP experience
- Collaboration with other team members across functions and regions
- Attention to detail
- Able resolve complex problems, situations and technical issues
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to learn new technologies and quickly adapt to the rapidly changing regulatory landscape
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification
- A strong interest in Information Security / Compliance / IT Audits
