Description of Duties:

The IT Project Estimator supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:

·         Manage a portfolio of highly complex proposals from development to award with a focus on the development and proposal process.

·         Facilitate proposal meetings and guide the applicable technical teams in developing contractual deliverables on time.

·         Plan and schedule contract deliverables using established Earned Value tool sets- with a focus on proposal documentation.

·         Manage expectations, resolve issues and conflicts, and build mitigation plans.

·         Author and deliver proposals, status reports, and executive level presentations.

·         Estimate time, labor, subcontract labor, travel, shipping, IT materials, and product costs to determine the overall cost for IT projects.

·         Prepare written proposals and cost estimates by collaborating with the Project Management Office, Business Relationship Managers, numerous technical teams, IRES Contracting Team and Government Stakeholders.

·         Monitor Government provided systems for real-time proposal notifications.

·         Manage multiple proposal developments and deliver on time.

Basic Requirements:

Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 6 years of general experience; Associate’s degree and 4 years of general experience; Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of general experience; Master’s degree and 0 years of general experience.

·         Must have 4 years of directly related experience

·         Proven ability to collaborate with technical teams, Sr Management and Clients

·         Must be detail oriented, organized and have time management skills

·         Ability to work independently on assignments

·         Be proficient in MS Office with a focus on Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project.

·         Have strong math skills
