What will you be doing?

Within our organization, as a Shredder Operator, you will have a very varied, challenging, and responsible position involving the processing and correct adjustment of our shredder. As a shredder operator, you will be primarily responsible for the correct and efficient processing of incoming metal-containing waste streams. You will work together with team leaders on production planning and quality analyses. You will also be responsible for the daily maintenance of your machine and will actively contribute to safety, order, and cleanliness on the yard. Riwald Recycling offers internal training to learn all processes and materials. In all your work, you will take safety, environmental, and quality requirements into account.

Job requirements

  • You preferably have a completed education or relevant work experience at VMBO/MBO technical level
  • Affinity with technology and metals
  • Independent work with a forklift truck, shovel, and/or crane is an advantage
  • You are a good communicator and have a good command of the Dutch language
  • You can work independently, but also as part of a team.
  • You don't mind starting early (7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) and working overtime if necessary.
  • You live in the vicinity of Almelo.
