The Direct-to-Consumer TVE Global Delivery Program Management team is responsible for the successful delivery of new, major features for our TVE streaming products for NBCUniversal brands such as NBC, NBC Sports, Bravo, Oxygen, SYFY, USA, E! and Telemundo.
As a Program Manager, you will be overseeing large initiatives that span multiple, cross-organizational teams for NBCU’s DTC TVE streaming services and interactive experiences. The Program Manager’s primary responsibilities are ensuring alignment across all respective teams and departments, building and delivering solutions that meet stakeholders’ needs, and effectively communicating to all levels on current status and business needs. This role reports to the Director, PMO.
Responsibilities
- Build project plans with cross-team dependencies and milestones and manage to those plans by identifying and mitigating risks and scope changes, etc.
- Provide program-level updates for executives and stakeholder
- Prepare for and facilitate recurring program meetings (i.e., agendas, presentations, notes, action items, etc.)
- Own program governance including establishing regular check-ins with stakeholders and vendors to ensure alignment of requirements and solutions
- Collaborate with executives and stakeholders to mitigate risks and resolve issues
- Continually work to improve processes and find efficiencies
Qualifications
- 6+ years relevant program delivery experience
- 3+ years working experience in the Atlassian suite
- 2+ years working experience in Agile methodology
- Advanced proficiency with project scheduling tools e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent practical experience
- Certification in Project Management methodology preferred
Desired Characteristics
- Proven track record managing global projects teams with competing priorities, diverse business objectives, and time zones constraints
- Demonstrated experience defining project plans for a portfolio or program
- Working understanding of SDLC
- Experience in streaming or tech industries
- Acute attention to detail
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build relationships across multiple groups, both virtually and in-person
- Able to communicate clearly and concisely in both written and verbal formats
