Job Description

Join our remote/collaborative team as an experienced Data Governance Analyst in support of CDO offices in the federal space. You will support the development of data governance workflows, and data ingest processes to improve data governance process automation and manual procedures.

Location: Fully Remote

Position Duties:

• Assess As-Is data governance organizational entities, data standards policies, and data management practices and identify gaps against modern DMBOK2-based best practices.
• Develop an enterprise data governance framework that meets Federal Agencies at their current level of data governance maturity.
• Define a development and adoption roadmap for enterprise data governance, including socialization, stakeholder buy-in, operating procedure documentation, and training.
• Support the effort to migrate data from different on-prem locations into the cloud.
• Develop data governance and data migration best practices.
• Research Federal data-related policies to provide underlying rationale for enterprise data governance practices.
• Provide guidance and expertise on process adoption and stakeholder collaboration.
• Provide technical leadership in the areas of data governance and data migration.

Qualifications

Required Skillset:

• Experience with Data Governance, Data Migration, and large-scale data management environments.
• Comfortable interacting with multiple layers of a client organization from technical to executive level.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in the Federal Government (preferred)
• Experience with Azure is a plus (preferred)

Experience:

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field. May have an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have at least (8) eight years of combined experience in related fields such as data architecture, data management, data analytics, data migration, and data governance.
• Required Certs:

Clearance Requirement:

• US Citizenship is Required
• Must have an Active Public Trust Clearance or have the ability to obtain one
