Principal Services Delivery Engineer - Assistant Vice President - Critical Services Delivery (Linux Platform) - 12 months Contract

Job Summary:

The Critical Services Delivery team is responsible for designing and building HKEX IT infrastructure for core mission critical systems. We strive for the highest IT standard by looking out for new technologies as well as continuous internal process automation and improvement.

Job Duties:

Being a Principal Services Delivery Engineer, you will work closely with the Critical Service Delivery Lead in managing critical IT solutions implementation. You will also play a subject matter expert (SME) role in providing IT technology expertise and guidance to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Interact with internal and external parties on IT solutions design, planning and execution.

• Play a role in project management such as tracking project deliverables timeline and exceptions.

• Compile project and technical documents such as project plan, technical specifications and test reports.

• Collaborate with the InfoSec/infrastructure engineering and support teams to adopt modern technologies, such as multi-cloud and container orchestration, to enhance manageability.

• Enhance internal processes by adopting automation.

Requirement:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information System or IT related disciplines.

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in Linux server administration, troubleshooting and security hardening.

• Experience of providing infrastructure design and project implementation.

• Knowledge in other infrastructure systems such as virtualization platform, backup and storage is a plus.

• Good team player with aspirations for IT management career development in top tier financial industry.
