The Quality Assurance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that RKD partners are receiving the best possible direct mail products at every stage of the production process. These stages include reviewing product content cohesion based on client style guides and agency templates, review of pre-press artwork to ensure it matches with client approved samples, review of live data to ensure it matches client provided data, and insertion samples ensuring all items are present within the mailing. QA Coordinators are client advocates, communicating diligently with both internal and external stakeholders to complete jobs right and on time. 

The Quality Assurance Coordinator will be responsible for utilizing understanding of direct mail production, attention to detail, and critical thinking to deliver error-free, strategic direct response marketing materials.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• General proofing of copy and art, which includes but is not limited to:
  1. Spelling
  2. Punctuation
  3. Grammar
  4. Client and brand standard
  5. Fact-checking
  6. Print specifications
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders and leadership to meet schedule commitments.
• Match printed layouts and mockups to ensure mail kits and versioning match strategy and reflect client expectations and approved templates.
• Ensure that all necessary data fields are produced accurately and match internal database information.
• Review personalization proofs against client-approved art and production data files to ensure accurate output.
• Compare insertion samples to client-approved mockup and internal data system to ensure correct components are inserted and the correct postage has been used. 

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• An associate degree or related experience working in editing/proofreading, direct mail, or marketing is preferred.
• Experience with nonprofit organizations and/or direct response marketing agencies is preferred, but training is provided as needed.
• Communicate in a clear, professional, supportive, and upbeat manner.
• Be proficient in Workfront, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Desired skill set includes:
  1. Strong attention to detail
  2. Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented remote environment with competing priorities.
  3. Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and meet quotas with little supervision.
  4. The ability to decipher programming rules and ensure vendors follow these rules as outlined in the master instructions document.
  5. Sense of urgency and ability to maintain performance quality under pressure.
  6. Establish and maintain rapport with internal and external stakeholders through positive and consistent communications while working with leadership to determine errors and develop recommendations for corrective actions.
  7. This position includes reading similar content repeatedly with equal attention to detail from beginning to end. 

LOCATION: Remote.

Pay Range expected for the position: $40,000 - $45,000 annually.
