About the role

Academic Plastic Surgeon – Reconstructive Microsurgery

Tufts Medical Center | Greater Boston

The Division of Plastic Surgery at Tufts Medical Center is seeking an experienced, board-certified Plastic Surgeon with expertise in reconstructive plastic surgery to join our growing academic practice.

This is an exciting opportunity for a microsurgery fellowship-trained surgeon with demonstrated expertise in free-flap reconstruction to join an established academic plastic surgery division. The ideal candidate will bring broad reconstructive expertise, with particular interest and experience in microsurgical reconstruction. Breast reconstruction is an important component of the division’s practice, with a large and growing breast reconstructive volume, while the overall practice encompasses a broad range of reconstructive and plastic surgery services.

The physician will have a primary academic practice at Tufts Medical Center in downtown Boston, with additional clinical responsibilities at one of our affiliated Tufts Medicine community hospitals. This practice model provides the opportunity to participate in the complexity and resources of a tertiary academic medical center while also helping expand access to advanced plastic and reconstructive surgical care within the community.
