Summary
We are looking for an experienced manager to spearhead the establishment and operationalization of a new Travel Service Center within the Mission Technologies FSG organization. This role will be instrumental in driving change management initiatives and implementing process procedures to ensure efficient and effective service delivery across the organization. This position will be offered with a hybrid work to include working both in office and remote from home. This full-time position is located in San Diego, CA.
What You Will Do

Lead the setup and roll out of the Travel Service Center, including defining goals, objectives, and process improvements in line with the organization’s initiatives and expectations of the new organization.

Develop and implement change management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions and adoption of new processes and procedures.

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify service requirements and design service delivery models that meet organizational needs.

Establish and enforce service requirements to ensure service quality and performance standards are met.

Design and implement process procedures for service request management, incident resolution, and problem management.

Hire, train, and supervise a team of travel service personnel, ensuring adequate staffing levels and performance management.

Monitor and analyze service performance metrics, preparing regular reports for management review.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery processes and optimize operational efficiency.

Liaison with the FSG line organization and Mission Technologies Corporate functional departments to build working relationships to align Finance/AP processes with the Travel Service Center.
What You Must Have
-
8 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in Business Administration, Management, Information Technology or other related field; 6 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 12 years relevant progressive experience.

At least 10 years’ experience with travel processing support, to include but not limited to, established internal processes, procedures, and electronic systems for travel related entrees.

Strong understanding of change management principles and methodologies.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred: Bonus Points For
- Masters Degree in related field preferred.
Physical Requirements
May be required to visit job site in an industrial or shipboard environment.
