Business Development Director, ActualTech Media

We’re looking for a Business Development Director to be responsible for the prospecting and selling of ActualTech Media’s suite of demand generation, lead generation and content marketing services to the B2B tech and IT marketing community.

What you'll be doing…

As Business Development Director at ActualTech Media, you’ll generate new sales revenue for ActualTech Media, including researching, prospecting, qualifying, closing, and managing a set of target accounts in your assigned territory.

You’ll be managing your time effectively in order to achieve full understanding of ActualTech Media’s value proposition, how to best position our suite of services, and setting/conducting direct meetings with prospects who meet the ideal client profile. You’ll also be developing, tracking, reporting and forecasting a healthy pipeline of qualified sales opportunities weekly.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve…

• Ability to develop and cultivate strong relationships with B2B tech marketers who own the budgets for ActualTech Media services.
• Be able to uncover the pain points and business goals of prospective clients in order to properly position the ActualTech Media services addressing their critical needs.
• Be able to sell consultatively or transactionally depending on the client and the immediate and/or long term needs and goals they hope to attain.
• 5+ years direct B2B media sales experience, with at least 2-3 years experience successfully selling advertising, demand generation and/or lead generation programs to tech marketers.
• Active Rolodex of clients and leveragable relationships is a major plus.

Please note, salary range for this position is $69,000 - $150,000.
