TEAM LEADER, INVENTORY CONTROL

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work with the Logistics Team to ensure all personnel are professionally trained and certified.
  • Ensure proper processes are followed.
  • Conduct continuous training on various types of Inventory Adjustments and Cycle Counts. Train personnel how to investigate product shortages and to verify locations before creating duplicate inventory.
• Work with Production Supervisors to ensure all personnel are fully trained and certified to execute production receipts/adjustments.
  • Investigate duplicate receipts and ensure they are adjusted out with the proper code.
  • Research DD-REC-PO/DD-REC-MFG daily and ensure errors are corrected.
• Work with the Logistics Team to ensure all personnel are fully trained and certified on the 3PL line.
  • Ensure proper transactions are used for FREELOAD-RTS and DD-TOTEDROP.
  • Verify and research DD-TOTEPLTMISMATCH daily to ensure inventory accuracy.

Daily Reporting Requirements:

• The Inventory Team Lead is responsible for reporting out to supervisors and the management team, daily, on the GEMBA Walks. The daily reporting includes:
  • Safety
  • Quality: Cycle Counts performed the previous day
  • Delivery: Inventory Adjustments entered the previous day
  • Cost:  Headcount for the Inventory Team
  • Pick Discrepancies
  • Skip Scans

Experience, Skills & Education:

• Prior Inventory experience is required.
• Must be process oriented.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook is required.
