Position Title: Academic Services Assistant/Class Checker
Job Description:
Monitor student-athlete attendance in classes assigned by the class check coordinator daily
Report absences to class check coordinator within 15 minutes of confirmed absence of a student
Write up absent students for each day using absence report template
Keep excel spreadsheet of reported absences updated each week
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: No experience required
Certifications/Licenses: N/A
Schedule: Employee must be available for both fall and spring semester. Weekly hours can range between 20-30 hrs/wk, Monday to Friday. Shift will be between the hours of 8am-7pm
Compensation: $17.00 PER HOUR
Skills: Public Relations, Public Speaking, Helping/Serving others, Analytical Skills, Attentive to detail, Organizational, Communication (Oral and written), and Punctuality.
