Engage fosters strong clinical collaboration and a supportive environment where team members continue to grow while making a meaningful impact every day.</p></div><p>We are excited to welcome a passionate and experienced Occupational Therapist to our team at our new partner senior living community in Wiscasset, Maine.</p> <h3><strong>About the Role</strong></h3> <p>As an Occupational Therapist at Engage, you’ll provide individualized, evidence-based care that helps older adults maximize independence, safety, and participation in meaningful daily activities. You’ll work with a diverse geriatric population across independent living, assisted living, dementia, and memory care settings while building meaningful relationships with patients and collaborating closely with the broader Engage team.</p> <p><em>Your day-to-day:</em></p> <ul> <li>Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess functional abilities, activities of daily living (ADLs), cognitive performance, safety awareness, and mobility needs.</li> <li>Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving independence, functional mobility, self-care, and overall quality of life.</li> <li>Provide hands-on interventions including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, cognitive rehabilitation, balance and coordination training, and adaptive equipment recommendations.</li> <li>Assess environmental and safety risks while implementing fall prevention strategies and functional modifications that support safe daily living.</li> <li>Provide care across one or more assisted living communities while maintaining strong communication with residents, families, and interdisciplinary care teams.</li> <li>Educate residents and caregivers on adaptive strategies, home programs, energy conservation techniques, and equipment recommendations that support independence and safety.</li> <li>Maintain timely, accurate documentation and monitor patient progress using EMR systems in compliance with state and facility standards.</li> <li>Collaborate with physical therapists, speech therapists, nursing staff, and support teams to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.</li> <li>Participate in ongoing professional development through mentorship, continuing education, workshops, and clinical training opportunities.</li> <li>Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, community staff, and colleagues to support except
