About the role
The Team Member Relations Advisor is responsible for upholding the highest ethical standards within Caesars Virginia casino. This role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance programs, conducting investigations, and providing guidance to employees on ethical conduct and compliance matters. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of HR practices, regulatory requirements, and investigative techniques.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into HR-related issues, including allegations of misconduct, fraud, or violations of company policies.
- Interview employees, gather evidence, and prepare detailed investigation reports.
- Provide guidance and training to employees on ethical conduct, compliance requirements, and reporting procedures.
- Collaborate with legal counsel and other departments to address compliance issues.
- Monitor and analyze regulatory changes to ensure compliance.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records related to investigations and compliance activities.
- Participate in the development and delivery of ethics and compliance training programs.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards across all HR processes.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance integrity and compliance within the HR function.
- Deliver and maintain training programs to stay within compliance
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of investigations, compliance audits, and employee interactions.
- Prepare detailed reports on findings, recommendations, and corrective actions for senior management review.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
- In-depth knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices related to ethics and compliance.
- Proven experience in handling complex employee relations issues and conducting internal investigations.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and investigative skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly and professionally.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Must be able to acquire a Virginia Gaming License.

- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke.

- Must be able to handle a heavy business volume, and sensitive situations relating to team member and guest problems, in a timely manner.
- Ability to simultaneously manage several projects, and not be frustrated by changing priorities and unforeseen obstacles to achieving objectives.
- Respond to visual and aural cues.
- Must have manual dexterity to operate all office equipment.
- Must be able to recognize and respond to individuals with questions.
- Must be able to maneuver around office and property.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must be able to lift and carry 10 pounds.
- Results driven with proven ability to perform in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Must be able to bend, crouch, kneel, twist and work at a desk/counter when performing functions of the job.
