Overview
This role is responsible for planning and overseeing the successful delivery of multiple programs’ deliverables and overall results for a midstream Oil and Gas company. Responsible for establishing and maintaining relevant program systems, strategy, documentation, reports, and discipline to standardize and optimize processes. This position is remote with MST hours. Qualified candidates must live in the United States and be able to work MST hours.
Duties & Responsibilities
Daily, hands-on project management throughout the life cycle utilizing PMI, PMP methodology
Ability to create long term strategy and document project deliverables
Plan and monitor the progress of complex programs and multiple workstreams
Integrate business policies and governance processes into planning & accountability for project roadmaps and strategy
Establish risk management, escalation paths, and take corrective measurements
Build and manage Program business case and budget
Managing and utilizing resources across projects
Facilitate and lead project meetings and manage stakeholders’ communication
Identify program KPIs to assess impact
Coordinate, manage and monitor the workflow of cross-functional teams
Provide and perform quality assurance checks on project artifacts and deliverables.
Align deliverables (outputs) to the program/project workstream’s “outcome”
Own overall integrated project plan and manage cross-functional resources, ensuring on-time delivery, meeting of budgetary demands, and achievement of business goal
Consistently exercise informed judgment and discretion in matters of significance
Requirements
Desired Skills and Experience
Candidates must have strong practical experience in program and/or project management, managing large and complex projects. Candidates must have the following:
Minimum of 7 years program/project management experience managing multiple workstreams, ideally within the Oil and Gas Industry
Upstream or Midstream Oil and Gas experience is required
Consulting Experience with strategy and analytics capability
Proven knowledge of project and program management methodology
Strong leadership, stakeholder, and management skills
Good knowledge of resource allocation procedures
Excellent oral and written communications skills to stakeholders including the ability to influence, strategize and negotiate
Ability to think analytically and process information quickly, presenting in a succinct and insightful format for executives
Qualifications/Technical Skill Requirements
Project management experience and formal project management methodology such as Agile
Minimum of 2+ years as Management or Business Consultant
Experience working with PMO stakeholders in engineering and operations team
Strong analytical and documentation skills are desired
Direct hands-on proficiency with Microsoft Project or SmartSheet is necessary, as well as PowerPoint and Advanced Excel skills
Education/Certifications
Bachelor’s degree is required in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or Finance is desired
PMP certification is desired
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, Sand Cherry Associates is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. This role has an annual salary range between $100,000-150,000. Years of experience, level of education, geographic location, unique skills/qualifications for the specific role and potential certifications can be key factors in the final compensation for this role.
