Job Description

Brightspeed is currently looking for a highly motivated individual to fill the role of IT Project Coordinator. This role will be responsible for managing IT projects and analyzing business requirements for the organization. The successful candidate will have strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders. You will lead projects, including defining objectives, creating plans to achieve objectives, tracking progress against objectives and budgets, and driving execution of key projects. 
This is a unique opportunity for a well-qualified individual to build a company from the ground up and play a part in defining our culture. As work scales, you will be expected to assist your peers in scaling resources both for IT technicians as well as project managers and/or business analysts. You will play a key role in ensuring the team can meet the demands of our internal and external customers as well as helping deliver reporting and information to our stakeholders. 

As an IT Project Coordinator, your duties will include:

• Coordinate IT projects and the project manager from start to finish, ensuring that all project milestones are achieved on time and within budget
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into IT project deliverables
• Conduct stakeholder analysis and develop communication plans to ensure project success
• Develop project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk assessments
• Work with development teams to ensure that business requirements are translated into technical specifications and project deliverables
• Conduct user acceptance testing and ensure that the project meets the required business outcomes
• Support the development of business cases and ROI analysis to support project decision-making
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that project expectations are met

Qualifications

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:

• Bachelor's Degree in IT, computer science, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in IT project management and business analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in Agile project management methodologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Experience with project management tools, such as Jira & MS Project
• Ability to manage multiple projects & initiatives simultaneously
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure and development lifecycles
