Advanced Systems Group LLC. is seeking an experienced Production Operations Lead to be in charge of leading the studio team on all productions. This role is ultimately the main on-site point of contact and a strategic operations partner to the client, responsible for building trusted relationships with client leadership, proactively seeking new opportunities to ensure smooth, effective operations, not only by identifying risks but anticipating needs before the client does. The Production Operations Lead is the ambassador for embedded employees, liaising with Resource Management teams to ensure direct reports are informed about company policy. Continued communication and updates to the team and stakeholders is essential. The Production Operations Lead leads a large and diverse team, has exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills, and is able to proactively identify issues to be resolved. Responsible for smooth functioning of studio operations, overseeing the structure of the team and recommending roles and skillsets needed for optimal team performance. As with all roles on the embedded and flex workforce, this role requires a high aptitude for customer service, with a solutions-oriented approach for the client, and serves as an exemplar of this for the rest of the team. Responsibilities:- Manage and lead a diverse team.
- Work autonomously to anticipate production needs, from staffing to expenses, that will be necessary for the success of client’s projects and communicate those needs to the client in an effective manner.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support employees and act as a liaison between embedded team members and CORE teams.
- Liaise with senior client leadership in relevant meetings to ensure client’s satisfaction with workflows, processes and deliverables.
- Manage the daily studio productions by working with Project Manager to schedule the control room and studio crew assigned to them,
- Oversee resource allocation and communicate production coverage needs (full-time and part-time), including key role requirements and candidate evaluation.
- Ensure the studio is prepared, and production needs are addressed.
- Manage Departmental Leads—Control Room, Procurement, Graphics, Producers, Brand Success Managers, Linear and Post—to ensure each department is supported and working effectively.
