Job Description
As a Security Officer - Brewery Patrol in Baltimore, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, observe production and warehouse activity, and document findings with clear, timely reports. In a fast-paced environment, you will deliver customer service and communication with integrity, while working as part of an agile, reliable, and innovative Allied Universal team.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
- Control access at entry points by verifying identification, checking credentials, and directing visitors, contractors, and drivers to the appropriate locations and/or contacts.
- Monitor and document vehicle and truck traffic, including logging arrivals and departures, verifying delivery and pickup information, and reporting irregularities per site policy.
- Complete routine inspections during patrols to help identify open doors, unsecured areas, and/or unusual conditions, and report findings through the established chain of command.
- Operate and monitor security-related systems such as CCTV, access control, and alarm panels as assigned, and report system issues for service.
- Write clear, timely reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations, including accurate logbook entries and required documentation.
- Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations, accountability processes, and establishing controlled areas until help arrives.
- Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership, providing directions and/or assistance while maintaining a courteous presence.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a college degree.
- Have 5+ years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21+ years of age.
- Loss Prevention experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
