Manufacturing Segment Leader

Description

Spectrum Industries, Inc. is looking for a new team member to manage and oversee the Panel Processing department.

• Supports employees by providing guidance and instruction
• Determines standards, production goals, and rates, based on company policies, equipment and labor availability, and workloads
• Provides input and participates in the hiring process and performance evaluations of employees
• Participates in promotions, job transfers, and disciplinary action
• Trains and coaches employees on job specific and company-wide procedures and work instruction compliance  
• Collaborates with other Manufacturing Segment Leaders to manage production activities and solves staffing requirements
• Recommends or implements measures to motivate employees and improves production methods, equipment performance, product quality, and efficiency
• Manages employee's performance through a disciplined system of monitoring and accountability, including corrective action planning
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Three to five years of related production experience 
• OR equivalent combination of education and experience
• Supervisory, leadership, safety, and quality experience (preferred)
