As part of the Data Architecture team, you’ll:

• Data Engineer to act as an SME (subject matter expert) to team of ETL Developers, responsible for designing and implementing ETL pipelines and developing shell scripts, SQL scripts and stored procedures
• Mentoring and reviewing ETL pipelines developed by junior developers and contractors
• Writing technical specifications and runbooks to document the design of complex ETL workflows and ensure support teams have sufficient knowledge to support the related applications
• Provide technical guidance for application support teams and testing teams
• Collaborate with the application development team to take advantage of new concepts/technologies
• Drive application and database migration and DR exercises for ETL platforms

About you:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• A minimum of 8+ years of experience within a similar data engineering position, with technical skills in the following;
• Developing commercial ETL processes with Informatica ETL tools such as Powercenter
• Working with various RDBMS like Oracle or PostgreSQL and JSON/XML data sets
• Working with shell scripts on Linux OS e.g. RHEL and developing PL/SQL processes
• Working on global-scale data supply chains.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Strong communication ability, both written and verbal
