About the Team

New Verticals is an exciting team at DoorDash that is building and scaling new ways to delight our customers, leveraging the DoorDash platform. New Verticals include the DashMart, Convenience, Alcohol, Grocery, and Retail businesses. These categories bring about new challenges and opportunities to build something at DoorDash from the ground up. Our Catalog, Fulfillment and Logistics pod focuses on enabling the operations behind each delivery and we are looking to expand our Logistics function! 

About the Role

We are looking to build out the NV Logistics team with an Associate Manager who will focus on strategic initiatives to reduce defects and improve fulfillment outcome for New Vertical orders. Our Logistics team has a mandate to create a world-class shopping experience for customers by offering complete item selection and outstanding fulfillment experiences. We can do this by identifying efficiencies, launching operational processes, and building product features. You will own metrics, pull operational & product levers and drive impactful results across our Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol and Retail businesses.

• Build. You’ll have your fingerprints all over DoorDash’s next big business. You’ll do whatever it takes to launch, get 1% better every day, and scale something completely new. This means everything from high-level strategy to nitty-gritty operational details.
• Strategize. From first principles, you will support strategic initiatives that impact all three sides of our marketplace, requiring high-level strategy and operational details; this can vary from building a fulfillment network to building high-quality Shopper fleet.
• Experiment. You’ll transform strategies into operational experiments that create measurable and actionable outcomes.
• Analyze. You’ll assess the operational and financial impacts of your decisions, and iterate quickly based on data.
• Collaborate. You’ll work with a cross-functional team, including marketing, finance, legal, support, design, product, data science, engineering, and operations to build this new line of business for DoorDash.

Compensation

The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity
